OK what to do ? exhaust

I have a CB dumped now . I want to go louder and want something free flowing , was thinking of just cutting off the dam thing and running no muffler ?

Is this louder and or better flowing ?

Better flowing? Depends on if your muffler is a straight through design. I've only ever heard one straight piped HEMI that sounded good and it was JJs truck. None of the olders ones have sounded good. I love my Aero and its pretty loud. FMs are loud, but they rust. Get on youtube, its not exact but you can get a good idea...

I am getting a Borla XR1 in the next week or so. From everything I have read or researched, it is one of the best flowing 3" mufflers available.

Yes, but it will be loud and crackle. Depending on you state and local laws, you can also get a ticket.

Edit: When I get around to ordering my new muffler, I am planning to take off my flowmaster and run no muffler for a few days. I will get a video and post it up. Should be late next week or so.

I like my straight piped Hemi, but its not loud enough sometimes........with the stock resonators on it, its quieter than my dumped FM40 (until about 3-4 grand that is).

Its ok, I'll have the best of both worlds soon.

Mine will be loud, I am taking everything off behind my Mag Y once I order my Borla muffler. I just want open exhaust for a few days

I ran no muffler for about a week. It was cut off right before the bed starts. It wasnt all that loud, i'm guessing because it was under the truck and pointed straight back. It did have a horrible drone at pretty much all rpms lol..

I actually just recently put some straights on, all the way out to the back corners of the rear bumper, on a 05 hemi. It was pretty loud. I was hoping the owner would get down on it a little bit when he left but he babied it! lol

Dont do staight pipes, they sound decent for a while but they get old real fast. Just order a cutout and call it a day, give you the noise you want when you want it
