Well I was surfing around on amazon and stumbled upon some MBRP dual walled 5" tips! They're 4" inlet, 5" outlet, and 12" long. They were going for $36 canadian with free shipping so I was pretty excited about it and figured I'd give them a try! There just so happened to be 2 left in stock, score! Lol

So here's the thing, I have a 3" body lift and the bumper bracket is in the way of a bigger tip longer than 7". I'm going to take it to a shop and see what I can make happen! I thought I'd make this thread for anyone with a body lift who's wanted to put bigger tips on! I'll keep it updated when I get the work done. The tips come in Thursday! Hopefully it'll work out, but if not amazon has free return shipping! Lol

Lil bitta this :superhack:, and a lil bitta that :buffer:. You got this!
Haha yep that's what I think it may take! I do have a couple ideas up my sleeve! If the easy way fails, custom fab time! Lol one way or another, I'm getting them on!

I've got the angled on my truck now! 4" outlet, looks great! Probably would have gone that way if I had the choice up here! Lol

I have actually been thinking about how my truck would look with straight instead of the angled... More hot rod like, maybe.

For those of you looking to install these 5" MBRP tips...here's a "tip". If you cut back the stock pipes and leave the stock tips on...the MBRP will fit right over top of them. It's a much easier install and avoids having to buy $40.00 adapters. going from 2.25" to 4" is a big jump, but this makes it easy.

I think these tips look amazing....I can't post pictures right now from work...but here's a link to my pictures in another thread showing the tips installed.

I honestly thought it would be louder...but I'm happy with it. Thanks for the compliment. The last thing i want to do now is a 42" LED Light Bar in the bumper. Just debating if I should or not...as I'll probably NEVER use it. I only want to do it for looks...but hey...the tips are really just for looks too.

btw. where in Ontario are you? I'm from Windsor, ON

Well what you could do is wire the light bar into your high beams! That way when you switch the highs on, the LED light bar comes on! Plus they look cool lol. I'm in the Kawartha Lakes, down near Peterborough!
