Good Morning Everyone,

i recently just purchased a 2011 1500 outdoorsman! very pleased with the hemi power, but its just to quiet!! i have the single in single out exhaust.

i have done some looking on here and have read a couple different ways to go

1. cut off resonator and leave muffler
2. muffler delete and leave just resonator
3. replace muffler w/ aftermarket and leave resonator
4. replace muffler w/ aftermarket and remove resonator

any advice, or sound clips WITH SINGLE EXIT, i have heard all of the dual exhaust clips and i know that will sound different than a single exit.

thank you in advance for all the help

FYI...You can buy the stock dual standard or sport exhaust and it will sound better. I bought a sport exhaust (muffler, pipe, tips) for $155 from LKQ. It only had 40 miles on it.

How does it "fit" in the back since the bumper are different?

The tips are adjustable. The OEM install instructions give the measurement of distance from tip to bumper for both the regular bumper and the dual cut out bumper.

It looks good with either bumper in my opinion, but you could always do just the exhaust first and change the bumper later if it's what you decide on doing. There is a recent thread discussing this on here somewhere but I forget the title or sub forum location.

Bird do you have any other videos of you driving? Or from further away?

Do you still like the sound?

I can get some more video for you.

I do love the sound still. I've noticed cruising on the highway, MDS will kick in and I can hardly hear it.

First half is with the windows down. Once I go from the red light the windows are up. Sorry about my music blasting with the freeway on ramp, I forgot to turn it off and didn't notice til after the fact.

I didn't have anybody to hold a camera outside of the truck to get any outside shots. Maybe soon!

Also, sorry bad phone quality.

I do, I only removed the muffler and replaced it with a straight pipe.

That Res ( or lack there of) really made the truck sound like it's got the Hemi.

I'm worried about back pressure issues if I were to remove it without already having the muffler. I know it's mostly in the Cats, but still not something I want to tinker with anymore.
