P0303 Question

According to the shop, my problem is weak lifter springs.

I have the PO301. This morning I made my appointment to get the cam and lifters looked at and replaced. I got 2 quotes, one for $5000 and one for $3000. I've done all the other part swaps as well as checking the injector.

litterally happend to me about 3 weeks ago. p0305 cylinder 5 misfire. i was up on the gas haard nearing 6k rpms....got some grumbles and flashing CEL...got off...pulled the code...cleared it but i know what it is lol. trucks parked waiting for a tear down this weekend. if the cam is wiped going to have metal flowing all over the place...im prob going to send my stuff to mmx for a 5.7 based 392 stroker. was a bummer lol..but now i kinda want the cam wiped lol haha i def wouldnt mind a 392 stroker : )

check the oil filter thread. Someone was selling his with free shipping but had to buy all of his(not sure how many he has lol). Also has info on those two as well I believe. (Page 114)
