I have QA1's front and back. For the back, I didn't use a sleeve for the bottoms. I welded 2 washers together to make a spacer (2 sets per sides, 4 spacers total, 8 washers total) and have no issues. I removed the shocks after 1K miles to check the bushings, no issues. I have them set at 15 stiffness and am dropped about 6" in the back.

Thanks. I wish I could weld... I am feeling good about my set-up as is, too. I am gonna check everything out next week and retorque if needed.

Still sitting at 10, but I am itching to go stiffer. :)

So close to pulling the trigger on a set tonight.

The final parts list is this correct?

x2 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hal-9032-102

x1 http://www.amazon.com/Morton-TW-5SS...10668827&sr=1-9&keywords=steel+washer+9/16+id

x2 3/4" Bushing Sleeve, 9/16" Bolt | Bushings and Sleeves | WFOConcepts.com MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEM CUT TO 1.25" (4)

Correct? I have no objections to running washers personally.

Jay

Oops, I checked your quantities, see bold changes above.

It looks like the spacers come in a pack of 10, you will need 8.

Noticed that myself, thanks!

Didn't see the option to have them cut to spec. I'll just cut them on my chop saw.

Ordered!

Hate my current shocks with a passion, they absolutely suck and are dangerous.

Sounds good appreciated it bud!

All I need now is the Sphon control arms and all have a tricked out suspension. Already have a 2/4 drop and Hellwig swaybars.

Yep, two words on the Spohn control arms "delrin bushings." Make sure you upgrade to those, the p/u ones are terrible. They are not on Spohns website, you have to call the order in.

Is it a expensive upgrade to them?

hey sorry if this is a dumb question but ive been reading your right up over and over trying to understand everything perfect before i order and start trying to do this but the part im a little confused is where your doing the back and you said you forgot to measure the mounting width on your truck so you used washers for the difference and well i can see the washers on the bottom but did you also use them for the top of the shock?

Yes, definitely on the top, too. The rear shocks are the same top and bottom, as are the mounting brackets on the truck.
