QTP or Raceland Cutout?

Ive been reading a lot lately, if guts going over to the QTP cutout over the Raceland. Besides the fact that the QTP can be hardwired in. What makes it a better unit?

Thats what I was thinking. For the unit itself, its not that much more. Either way I go, Ill have my exhaust guy weld it up and fix this damn exhaust leak....

Being able to hardwire it really makes it appealing. I havent had any issues with my raceland but i wish i could hardwire it

What do you mean by hardwire? Like running it to a switch?

I had the QTP cutout on my grand cherokee, it was absolute garbage, it never sealed correctly. the bolts were always coming loose, the dam thing fell off like 3 times, the motor of course died then fell off. then i replaced it after having to buy another motor which the replacement motor they didnt even want to sell me came wrapped in heat shrink that was done poorly.

If they have addressed the issues from 5 years ago maybe.

They offered no help with my issues.

I had a 3 inch cutout on my jeep.

it appears they built a cover over the motor, but still shows the coupler between the butterfly and motor. looks like the same motor also and connector as before.

I have a raceready cutout. I've had it about 2 years with no issues.
