Have a strange one.
While in Acc on sat radio volume will suddenly increase then a few seconds later go back down.
Dash while on normal volume

Dealer has to go through diagnostics before they get the OK to replace the head unit.

2019 Classic 400 miles.

Anyone else have this annoying glitch?

Does it only do this on Sirius XM radio?

What is your "time-out" setting for radio while key is on Accessory position? In other words, how long will accessories like the radio stay on with key in Accessories position? (This is user settable in the Settings menu)

I haven't tried on FM as I don't listen to it.
Nor have I changed any time out settings.

I just experienced this in my truck. I was listening to my music on a memory stick. Ignition is off and I'm listening to it before I go into work. My delay is set for 10 minutes. I only have about 150 miles on the truck. I'm curious what you found.

Check the speed compensation setting for the volume(it's in the radio settings), try turning it to off. Depending on where it's set at, the radio volume will increase as the vehicle speed increases, this setting is handy for people who like to drive with the windows down.
The radio probably can't interpret the - - of the vehicle speed. The speedo reading probably does that because of the BCM shutting down.
