Anyone else experience this? First time with this truck I’ve had the opportunity to take a run down the interstate. I get a rumbling or resonance coming in around 78-82 mph. Mostly noticeable when on the gas or steady cruise. If I go faster it goes away. I don’t hear it coasting down through that range from higher speeds. Don’t feel any vibrations.
It is loud enough to get my attention. And irritating enough I don’t want to hear it on a long day’s drive.
I’m concerned it’ll be difficult to get a dealer in FL where I am now to take a complaint seriously, or even diagnose it, since the speed limit is 70 (which of course everyone ignores). Later in the summer I’ll be out west where 80 is the posted speed, maybe I’ll have better results if I take it to a dealer in say, Texas?
Any other experiences out there to help in identifying the sound, or advice on how to get it addressed is certainly appreciated!
The truck is still 100% stock PW, 2500 miles. 6.4 and 4.10 of course.
