so I’m having a unique issue that has now presented itself twice. Once last week and once just today. I will back out of a parking spot or wherever and as normal my reverse cam activates. Twice now it has failed to deactivate as I shifted into drive. It stayed on the reverse screen the entire duration of my drive and I was unable to revert back to my normal screen (pushing the “X” button or the screen off button did nothing. When it happened today I even pulled over and shut the truck off and opened the door to try and reset it and it would not revert. When I started my truck back up it went right back to the reverse cam. Also when I shut off the truck the screen would turn blue and basically stay that way. It would only correct itself after I exited the vehicle and I’m assuming walked far enough away for a long enough time so that my key wasn’t near the vehicle. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to be intermittent and I didn’t see this issue pop up when I performed a quick search of the forum.

I have a 2018 sport with the 8.4 Uconnect

Uh.... lol. That’s a new one on me. Your truck’s an 18 so I’m assuming you’re well within your warranty so I’d be making a trip back to your dealer.

Let us know what it is when you find out as that’s awful interesting.

that's the plan, like most of us I just hate working with the dealer and avoid it when I can. with this I don't think its avoidable. I took videos of the camera issues so that I have proof. Ill be sure to update after I get it worked out.

Oh I do too but unfortunately there’s just certain things that only the dealer can address. Besides, your truck’s still under warranty so unless there’s a possibility that you coulda done something- not saying you did or could have, just speaking from their end, it won’t cost you anything.

No you are absolutely right it is definitely something that should be covered under warranty. I haven't changed anything with the audio in my truck.

Hi TJames,
I understand how this would be pretty frustrating. Send us a private message once you have an appointment set up so we can assist you in having this concern address by your dealer.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Just had a camera installed at the dealership cause I wanted it done right. LOL. Worked for a couple weeks. Then one day it came on and won't go off. Screen turns blue after you get over 10 mph. Radio doesn't work.

This same thing just happened on my 2019 classic. What was the fix?
