Here is a pic of the RTA mic. If you have a compatible apple product. The RTA reading, and the SPL levels are from my truck. It’s IMO the easiest plug and play RTA you can use, plus it’s made by one of the industry leaders in sound measurements

I believe audio frog has a rta/mic that is pretty affordable and user friendly.
I have only seen videos about it. I have no real world experience with it

Ditch those cheap kickers and go with the guy thats selling the Hertz components on here. I had a set of JL C2 6.5" components in my jeep and wasnt impressed with them, and they were amplified. The only JL components i would buy are C5.
When i can afford to, i will buy a set of hertz components, and install them in the front doors, and move my rockford T2 6.5" components to my rear doors.

Used them in my very first Ram system. My installer added some fiberglass to stiffen them up. I was running midrange and tweeters in them with midbass in the doors. I liked the sound of them quite a bit. Been thinking recently about switching my setup to kick panels.

We've used those on a few installs and they're ok. I agree with Tom, you had better stiffen them up a bit. I like the location of them. I've heard some really nice SQ cars with kicks in that location
