Look great man even on the stockers!! Last question were you running the Airlift bags for a ram or the ones for a Durango?

Running the airlift ones for a Ram... Wonder if the Durango ones would be shorter and less likely to die so quickly??? I am hesitant about buying another set of airlifts. Since they didn't last very long. Well, to be fair, one went for a crap, but I'll reexamine the spring as well, maybe its got a sharp spot on the paint or something.... Because the other one is still fine to this day. I'll just buy another pair so I have a spare.

what rims and tire size are you on in the last pic?

Thanks, they are 24x10 KMC's with a 305/35XL24. Same OD as the stock 20's but the big wheels make the truck look higher. I'd actually like to get rid of them for a set of 22" OE R/T wheels, but here in Canada they are hard to find, and when I do find a set the sellers think they're worth $4k a set.. When the dealer can do it for $3200... If I find the right set I'll probably do that before April when I switch seasonal wheels. The truck looks SO much lower with the 20's over the 24's even though the actual height never changes.

From everything I read once you are lowered beyond 2 inches in the rear, you need to use the Durango bags because they are in fact shorter in length than the one for the Ram. The only thing I am still curious and researching on is, if you are lowered 4 inches in the rear and using the Durango bags are you still able to tow a decent weighted trailer or haul stuff in the bed.

I contacted Belltech a couple days back about the 965SP 2/4 lowering kit for 4WD QC and CC. The pictures available for the kis show both front and rear coils but the parts listing makes no mention of front springs. I also asked about notching the crossmember for QC's with a 1 piece drive shaft. Well here is the response I go today.

Thank you for contacting Belltech. Yes, this kit will come with front and rear coils, front struts and rear shocks. It will also come with a track bar relocation bracket, rear endlinks, new bumpstops. Part number 965PS is a complete lowering kit.
As for the crossmember notch. It is for either the 2013 models or if you have a single piece drive shaft of any year.

**Break**

From the sounds of it the crossmember notching is required on all 2013+ QC's with a 1 piece driveshaft can anyone comment on if it is actually required or not?

I had one bag with a leak as well
Airlift stepped up and sent me a new one, no questions asked, very easy to deal with
Definitely worth a phone call

Those tires are going to be slightly smaller diameter then stock but should work ok if your running the wheel spacers.

from my research they could be about 3/4-1" shorter depending on tire manufacturer. What I was looking for in the way of advice is what all you guys are running tire size

I've got a 4x4 QC ... 4" rear belltech springs.. 2" front Ground Force springs (at the time Belltech didn't offer a front end spring) ... I didn't notch anything. And I've watched install video's on Inez's 6" drop.. No notching... They've got the 4/6 install video on their FB page.

As Miss Quivers says.. 4" is fine!
Haha

Wow thats pretty good of them. Where was the source of the leak?? If it ever warms up here I've gotta pull mine out and see whats happening, but I may do the Durango bags just incase.

The durango bags or ram bags are both rated for 1000lbs capacity...

I'm lowered 4" and had a 2800lb pallet of salt in the back with 35psi in the bags... maybe not recommended .. but it did it.. LOL

My leak was a weird one
I removed my bags from my trade to the dealership and reinstalled about a month later in a new truck
One leaked right away
Removed from the spring and put it into a water bath to find a leak at the fitting at the top of the bag
At that point I thought it was screwed, so phoned Airlift and they sent out a new one
In the mean time I figured let’s punch it up to 50lbs-it must have reset the fitting in the bag- it’s been in the truck since, 100000Km+ later
Still have the replacement bag in the box.....

Has anyone ran this kit yet? I think I’m going to order soon. Anything else I need other than the kit?
