I don't think there are any particularly good spots to anchor to on these trucks without fabrication, or adding the stock hooks.

There is this 1.125" bar that runs along the front of the front axle... jk lol

I would say get hooks, or only do recovery in drive, not reverse. To be honest this is better for your tranny anyway, especially if you will be pulling hard.

hahaha oh yeah toss er on the sway bar.. that thing totally can pull a car no problem :roflsquared:

Seriously though... can you think of a good spot? I really can't.

I suppose if you were really in a tight spot you could anchor around the front axle support cross member. It is very solid, but your axle is in there so you have to be super careful not to load the housing, only the crossmember. THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!! Also, I would only do this with a strap, definitely NOT a chain.

well you could take out that plastic insert in the bumper and wrap it around the frame horns if you have a strap. im not confident it would stay on but it might

I think that would work, but you might kink your bumper... Safer for the overall truck than my earlier suggestion though lol.

I really say recovery from the front only w/tow hooks, or good anchor points. Otherwise just from the rear.

yeah depending on the angle your definitely right. it probably would push on the bumper if their in a ditch or something and your pulling up.

tow hooks ftw :D
