please can someone tell me what I did wrong except be a total dump truck

ok so bluetooth issues I thought was the unit not picking up the pair so I somehow ended up downloading a launcher which then I got into system settings and I totally ****** the whole thing up everything is flipped if i want to click top right corner i have to click bottom left and it's all in Chinese and please is there a way to reboot it

You will need to change these settings "touch origin" and/or "screen rotating"

Start with touch origin. Unfortunately, you'll have to do it by guessing where to press. You can force format the radio to default everything but this erases everything on the radio.

I ordered the Linkswell gen ii over the weekend from ADC Mobile. Today, I received a Fedex tracking number for my order that shipped from the US. Pretty sure I'll have it before the weekend...which is perfect. That way I can take out the Phoenix radio and install this one at the same time. We'll see....mostly hoping it justs boots up correctly!

It will I'm sure. It may boot a little slower than what you have seen so far (it's Android 4.4.4)

Yeah, I was wondering that... I think it says 20 - 30 seconds. But, even 40 seconds would be much faster than the 5 minute boot ups my PX6 units would do in the mornings.

Now that we're going to get 20 degree temps overnight next week in NJ....I'll REALLY need the defroster. Do the older Android units have "sleep mode"....where if you re-start within 48 hours, it boots up instantly?

No, but the HVAC has a memory of its own before boot up so if you leave it on it will be the same way you left it as soon as the truck is running.

The Android 7.1.1 unit can. There are three variants of these radios generally.

1. Android 4.4.4 (Linkswell Gen1 and Gen2 are 4.4.4 / PX3) Linkswell markets the 4.4.4 radios as the most reliable version for their purposes.

2. Android 7.1.1 (Also PX3 but has power settings that allow it to sleep which is why it's also known as a fastboot radio)

3. Android 8.1 (with newer PX6 processor but no sleep/stanby options similar to Android 4.4.4 PX3 version but reportedly boots faster)

I feel like it's been just the three of us for a while now. Lol

I installed the new fw. Will see what morning boot up is like.

If it's good, then I'll be surprised/happy.

I don't want to jinx it, (lol) but I've had two cold start ups that have resulted perfect cold boots.
So, for now, things look to be entirely stable and operational.

The PX6 units may finally have a starting point for being a totally reliable option for customers.

If anything changes, you know I'll update you.
Didn't post right away, as I wanted to give it a few cold boots to observe it's continued stability.

By the way it is only 4 degrees C today (39 degrees F) and was - 6 degrees C (21 degrees F) last night. So even colder weather isn't affecting it thus far. We'll see when it gets to - 30 degrees this winter (thanks Canada)

These are passively cooled so it'll probably run best in the winter for you...

Well I officially feel confident in saying the PX6 boot issue is resolved following this last fw update.

Have not had any issue with boot up since install.

Unit is working perfectly now. No issues at all with mine now.
