I've looked at the BBB ratings on Phoenix.... Just what you would expect. Dozens of complaints… Phoenix response to some of them... "We didn't get your email, it went to spam"...

They probably have a rule setup for incoming key words like "returns" that moves them to a junk folder. I always loved how every conversation was a new one on their end (it was like trouble shooting with a goldfish)...

Do you think going with an older 7.1 PX3 increases my chances of getting a working unit this time? I was happy with the last two PX6 units.....once they booted up. Getting them to start up correctly was the problem.

Hello, just joined and installed the px3. I have a couple questions.

How do you enable video to play while truck is in motion?

My rearview camera only comes on when i click the camera button but doesnt auto engage on reverse. I have noticed these units have different menus depending on the vendor the manufacturer works with.

Also i have seen a teardown on xda developers and it looks like some of the units have a micro sd card as the storage inside the unit (32 and 64 gb version) can this be upgraded?)

And last question....can this unit be rooted to utilize a program that will allocate some of the storage to be used as ram?

I know that dash kit is for this radio ... Designed specifically for the Pioneer DMH-C5500NEX 8-inch radio , and that radio aint cheap either , lol

I’ve seen it for $500ish on Amazon. Not bad. The dash kit was too expensive for my blood, at least the metro version that had a 4” screen for climate controls.

I think I'm going to try a Linkswell gen II from ADC Mobile. Just wondering though... most of these T-style radios are advertised as working on a 2013-18 Ram truck. But, on the ADC Mobile and Linkswell site....they say only 2014-18. Any idea if for some reason my 2013 wouldn't be compatible?

Still waiting for a fresh fw update. They have to recode some stuff, so I'm just going to be patient for the meantime. Expecting it to be done this week with the way Carsoll is with pushing the developer

Ask them to give you rooted firmware!
