I've been searching for a "how to" thread on removal and/or modification of the throttle body for the 5.2.

Is there such a thread? If there is can someone provide a link?

Thanks in advance. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Throttle body is easy to remove.

-Remove the air box
-Unplug the connectors for the MAP sensor (front), TPS (side), and IAC valve (rear)...there's really nowhere else for these to go, so no worries about where they go.
-Unhook all three throttle cables, that is if you have auto and cruise. You'll have the throttle cable and one for cruise and the kick down for the auto trans.
-Unbolt the black bracketry for the cables
-Unbolt the TB and carefully remove, being careful of any junk that might be on the bottom

That's it. Really quite easy. Whether or not the fasteners and clips on wiring will cooperate though is the question. There might be a thread already on here in the DIY/tech section, but I'd have to look.
