Tipm issues

I have a 2013 ram diesel mega cab bighorn. Had to replace my first tipm at 87000. Going on my fourth tipm box at 129000...anybody else having related problem?

Tire Pressure Monitor? If so the stock ones seam to last the longest, the after market all seam to go out like 36 monthsish. Try and find replacements that offer some type of warranty. They are dependent on an external power source IE a battery says costco, so those are a maintenance item that will need periodic replacement if you want them. The aren't necessary, when mine go out I'll probably put a piece of tape on the dash to ignore the light

I think costco has the cheapest replacement, anyhow cheapest I've seen. Still not cheap seeing how it is a 3 dollar battery that fails.

Have you seen the new ones? They have new ones that go on the end of the tire stem so you don't need to remove the tire, if you ditch the factory setup. Much better option, I don't know why they did it the other way, pretty stupid to have them inside the tire.

Totally integrated power module is a tipm...not tire monitor...basically your fuse box

4th TIPM? Wow! Were some of those out of your pocket?

TPMS, yeah, you're lucky to get ~6yrs out of them before the batteries go out on them.

Yeah, that shouldn't be going out, especially in mild CA. Can they isolate which fuse is the problem? I bet there is a short somewhere.
