Towards hooks and light bar

Installing tow hooks and a "20 light bar in the front end of my express. I'm wondering if you guys think I should install the hooks backwards (hook opening onwards) or install them like factory? I've seen several guys running them backwards just wanting input.

Next I'm having issues trying to mount my light bar. The brackets that came with my car seem to not mount anywhere in thinking of a sheet metal brace any input and fabbed input would be appreciated. Thanks gents.

Install them outboard. It works best that way and if you ever use them your light bar won't be in the way.

Thanks man and by chance do you know if they make a precut panel for the 2014 or will I be better off just cutting mine?
Looked at moparpartsonline and the only panel they seemed to have said 2009-2013 with the horizontal fog light bumpers.

They do not unfortunately. It's because it's not meant to be compatible with the plastic bumper. Here is how mine are and if you go the beginning of the thread you can see the inboard install too.

Looks like I'll be doing some cutting and measuring but gonna get this light bar minutes before cutting. So far here is my progress. I guess I'll just run bare up front for a week's...

No problem. If you take a close look at my pictures, you'll see where to cut without measuring. If you leave just the smallest bit of the black bezel, the tow hook can rest on that instead of the painted bumper (and the bumper won't deform).

They do make pre cut pieces I think I saw some on ebay or some place but they do have them. Cause I was thinking about doing the same thing. But I might go with the police push bar.

They do, just not for express or sport bumpers. Definitely not 2013+...
