I’m new to this forum so I apologize if this has been posted before. I recently bought my 2017 Ram and while driving over slightly rough roads I heard a hollow type noise form the rear. I thought it was one of the shocks in the rear. I was talking to a buddy (who has the same truck but a little older) one day about the noise and he told me to check the bed bolts and low and behold all but one bolt was loose. I tighten up all the bolts and presto the noise is gone. So I case not everyone knows—- check your bed bolts. Have a good day

If you live where I do, the salt takes care of it for you. No checking for loose bolts or anything like that.

Very convenient...

It would be nice if out of the millions of Ram owners One of them would answer your question. I also have tried to get someone to give me the bolt size. Alli get is bed removal, bed size, etc. Please some one answer our question. Sorry, but, I am frustrated by the lack information on a simple question.

After hours searching the internet and Ram forums, I decided the best way to answer your question was to take one out of my Ram 1500.
The bolt is 12mm with a 1.75 thread and approximately 1 3/4 inch. Got one from NAPA for about $3. Hope this helps.

Less than 5 min google search, or could go to the dealer. We'll a competent dealer, in the parts description it shows the size.
