Both bullydog and trinity can be unplugged after tune is loaded. Unless you want the ability to have custom tunes made the bullydog has stronger canned tunes

I plan on kinda running the same mods (cai, exhuast, TB, and catch can). I was asking around about this too and Moes suggested the Bully Dog tuner unless you plan on looking into doing custom tunes, which I am not. Search the thread that Moes performance posted about the Bully Dog being on sale. Our conversation is in there. Hope it helps.

Look in the vendor section. Unbeatable tuner prices and a great dude.

Hemifever, hands down. Best BANG for the buck period. Order the Trinity from Hemifever and get HIS Tune included. I'm running it on my 2012 R/T and have never experienced this much hourse power form a tuner before.

Does the trinity have to be plugged in all the time?

Yes, you will be fine with the Hemifever tune on a stock truck. He writes the tune for your mods, so if you are stock, he will write the tune for a stock truck.

Although the tuner will probably make the most noticeable change, I would do it last. That way you can have custom tunes written for your mods. It will be less money that way.

I was thinking the same thing, but at the same time I like the idea of getting the tuner first and checking my stock times. And then being able to check times after mods to see how I'm doing. If you buy a Trinity from hemifever you get one custom tune?
