got a guestion. ive never installed in channel vent visors. i ordered some AVS in channel ones. when i install them it goes in the channel where the window rolls up right? so the window will be touching it when its rolled up right?

I installed mine differently. I had seen a friend's scratch the edge of the window where they touch the hard plastic. It happens over time, not overnight, but I still did not like the idea. Instead, I installed them behind the window seal so that the glass only contacts the original seal and not the vent. It took some doing to get it right, but it works fine and no worries of air/water leaks or of having the glass rub on the hard plastic of the vent. You have to be real careful to get it right or the window will push the rubber into the channel instead of sliding into it. I'll try to take some pics of how I did it, but it is hard to photograph.
