Sorry to hear that and I'm rooting for you. I was wondering what kind of doctor you found in Troy that wouldn't be in Cincy. I'm in Dayton...went down to Fairfield on Saturday.
I actually live in Beavercreek work in Cincinnati. The doc I have is part of Kettering I went with troy because where it's a new facility they were able to get me in immediately. My doc started at Cleveland clinic and I also have a doc at the wexner center at OSU.

4 months ago I was told I have essentially the deadliest cancer there is. it's gonna have to be a whole hell of a lot more than some smoke and screeching tires to make me even prarie dog lol. I accepted that day that everyday could be the last and to take it for what it is and live it to the fullest.

So the verdict is in better than I thought. Needs a new wheel hub assembly. Brakes checked good but I'm going to change them anyway. Now the funny part. Dealer wants 850 to change the hub. My response GTFOH. New hub is 160 and 2 hrs worth of work. Even at 100 an HR labor wtf do they think they are getting that other 5 hrs. Nope sorry I'll fix my own lol.

With that wheel offset, get use to wheel hub bearing assembly changes being a regular occurrence.

I just picked up a pair of Timken bearings (hubs) for $220 w/ 2 day shipping. The dealers are getting ridiculous.
Got a link?

Hopefully it was a free or relatively free diagnosis.

Back when I was young, had hair, and Elvis was tho most famous person in the world, We, in my generation, would raise the back of our cars to give them that tough rakish look. Never mind what that would do to the original center of gravity, the front to rear weight bias which really affected braking, steering and safe control. Who needed those trifling, bothersome, mundane, common sense things?! We had girls to impress and we thought we were cool!

Ball joints wore out prematurely as did tires and front brakes. Panic stops were outright dangerous! But we identified with all the cool cats who were on TV at that time.... e.g. Starsky and Hutch!

Inevitably, I returned my car back to stock.

yeah, but they always got better mileage when lifted that way, ‘cuz you were always going downhill!

Keep that great attitude!! That immunotherapy is the bomb!!! My brother had renal carcanoma and did chemo for 2 years but his cancer came back and in his lungs also. After 12 months of immunotherapy his PET scan showed No cancer!!! Though he will have to be checked every 6 months new advances for cancers are making leaps and bounds against the fight!! Keep your head up and a positive attitude!! You got this!!! F#*& Cancer....

Actually, my '66 Mustang I had in High School was jacked up in the rear.... and it quite possibly saved a life!

It was October of 1973 and was a warm even for Houston, and a rainy day. As I drove through the neighborhood going home after school, an 8 year old boy chasing a soccer ball ran right out in front of me and I hit him.

I was slowing for a turn and was at about 20 mph, and was glancing up into my rearview as I gave signal for the upcoming turn. The girl I carpooled with gasped and screamed, and when I turned my head, I saw for just a nano second, a blond head right at the front hood line go down and heard a thump.... I slammed on my brakes. When I opened my driver's door, the kid crawled out from under the car, got up on the sidewalk and had his arms crossed at the lower abdomen and he was shaking and pale.... in shock. I picked him up and hollered at the other kids who he was playing with to point out which house he belonged to. I took him home, and knocked on the door. His Mom answered. I told her what happened, gave her my info, and admonished her to take the boy to the ER. She did.

I went home and told my Mom what happened, and we took off to the ER so Mom could see about the young boy's welfare. Moms do that sort of thing! By the time we got there.... there were 2 doctors poring over x-rays. Miraculously, he had no internal organ damage, and no broken bones, but his chest looked like hamburger meat from being dragged on concrete. One Xray view of the back of this kid's head had a large white spot in the middle of the back of his head, and they were trying to determine if that fluid was inside or outside the skull. The eventually determined it was exto-cranial, and sent him home.

I have no doubt to this day that my choice to raise the rear of that car increased ground clearance sufficiently to prevent worse injury to that lad. We were both fortunate that a wheel hadn't rolled over him.

Yeah, that was my initial thought also. I would bet the bearing failed and that caused all of the carnage.

How are you responding to the treatment so far? Hopefully all going the right direction so far!

I feel like it's going good. The chemotherapy and radiation did a lot. Get a pet scan on the 10th of Aug hopefully this immunotherapy finishes kicking it's ass. If not on to the next I'll find something.
