I'm looking into getting a new muffler and switching out the piping. While I plan on doing that, I would like to turn it into a dual exhaust. The muffler that I'm going to get (Borla XR-1) only has a single out. So I will need to get a Y pipe in order to connect the two pipes to the muffler. I was on your website but was unable to locate any Y pipes. Can you help me out? Lol..

Thank You

Sir, I can get any pipe any diameter any length you want. Just let me know exactly what you are looking for...aluminized, stainless, polished stainless, etc. I can even have it high heat powdercoated or Ceramic coated...

^^^^Sir you just peaked my interest. Is there a way to get it bent and everything so all I have to do is weld it in??

I need to replace the piping from the muffler to the tail pipe. I have the muffler picked out and now the Y Pipe picked out (from you). The piping is 2.5 in diameter. Here is my current set up:

What I want to do is have another exhaust output where the red line is, that way I will have the exhaust dumped on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle, behind each tire. As for the type of piping, I'm not exactly sure what would be the best to go with. The only thing I'm skeptical about is that the piping gets bent correctly to avoid obstructions under the truck. Then, I'll either keep my current exhaust tip and get second one, or I'll just get two new tips.

Most of the time the shops can bend it up for you and put it all in. Stainless is the most expensive but won't rust. aluminized won't rust as bad I believe. But powder coated costs more cause of the coating but won't rust. aluminized I think is one of the cheapest options. But if you can get it pre bent man you will be in business.

If you need it bent, it is best to buy an exhaust kit. I don't have a bender (yet)....

I can probably save you money on the muffler too, let me do some looking.

Cheapest way is with aluminized piping, longest life is stainless or ceramic coated. Powdercoating lasts a good while to, but it isn't as resilient as ceramic coating...

I like the word yet in there. Tehe. I'm going to be doing a full custom exhaust. Headers all the way back in true duals. Just deciding on Headers. Glad to know that we can get our tubing from you. That will save me tons when this goes to get fabbed up this spring.

There you have it steve!

We eventually plan to be a full service shop, including exhaust installation, tires/wheels, paint and body, everything....We have the shop laid out (48x60), it is just a matter of getting the funds together for it...

Lmao, thanks man, I appreciate you referring me to 3rdstrike.

If you end up getting a bender within the near future, I will probably go through you (obviously pending the price). It would be nice to save a few bucks and not worry about getting ***** by the shop lol. That would be awesome if you can eventually bend it and then all I need to do is weld it in!

What I will do for now, is probably buy the parts I need, one by one..then hopefully we can figure out the piping situation. If you need pics of under the truck, I will definitely send you some too.

Or you know what? If you can send me the piping, I can have the shop bend it as necessary. That is, if you don't think you are getting a bender within the next month or two months..

Maybe that will lessen the price the shop will charge me?

Probably will cause then you will be looking at labor cost not material cost. You will have a ton of measuring to do. you have to measure all the bends and everything. But that is what I'm probably gonna do.

Depends on what the shop is charging for the pipe, my local places dont jack up prices on stuff like that.
