Been a while since I've posted here.
I have an 05 Ram 2500 QC Hemi. Has k&n intake, Taylor shorty wires and they typical flowmaster duals. I hate that my truck sounds like every other truck on the road so I'm changing it up. I'm definitely doing the magnaflow y-pipe. And I have my side mount tip picked out, not I'm just trying to decide which muffler. I really think my flowmaster is too quiet. I was considering doing the magnaflow race muffler. It looks awesome in al the pics and it's a straight thru design. You'd assume it would be loud since it's a race muffler, but in the past I've always thought my magnaflows have been too quiet especially at idle. And input would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, strait threw round flowmasters? Those are the ones on mine. I set off car alarms idleing through parking lots.
If your not running them strait out the back, I would run them 3/4 way down the bed and then put a turn down on them. They will be loader and hiden kind of.

Thats what im doing once i buy the muffler, mf y pipe to mf 6" race muffler then dumped before the axle

I've got the normal 40 series or whatever it is flowmaster that everyone gets at their local muffler shop. I'm looking to upgrade to a straight thru muffler

On the 05 2500 I had, I ran the Aeroturbine muffler and loved the sound of it. They went away for a while, but I have heard they are back.

Aeroturbine is where it's at. Also had one on my 2500.

One that was kind of big back on the Dakota Durango forum was the Spintech Prostreet muffler...Had one on my 04 Dakota 4.7 and it sounded pretty sick...Heres a link to a video...There was a big to do around the time about those whistle tips...Don't mind my additions to the video haha...
