I’ve had the factory ones on for 5 years now and they are still holding up well with no issues. I barely change the wipers and this is the same for all the vehicles my family and I have owned.

Very surprised only a few mentions of winter blades and I mean REAL winter blades with the rubber boots surrounding the frames. With the heavy, wet spring and fall snow storms here in Colorado, I have always used them from October to April. None of the part stores with the exception of NAPA stock them around here. I get tired of cleaning the clogged frames that lead to two elongated snow balls trying to wipe the back splashed mag chloride coating off the windshield. I will have to try the Bosch for the summer though. Rain X work great but do not last the whole summer for me.

So.... One 24a and one 22b for greater coverage?

Ruh-roh... I just received 1 22a and 1 22b in my mailbox...
That's what is called for, but looks like some folks are saying they would rather opt for 24 in the future for greater coverage and I don't see a 24b... On Amazon at least

I wouldn’t sweat it as I really don’t think 2 more inches in length is really gonna make a difference in seeing and not seeing.

Wish that logic worked more often lol

You know, I just knew that comment was probably gonna be baiting someone into saying something like that...

But on that note, I think it’s more about.... diameter than length....[emoji18]

Bosch Icons on all the family autos.

Just ordered the 22a&b from Amazon since I desimated my last blades after an ice storm and apparently 2 inches does not matter. Paid $43 w/ tax... I'm sure I could find cheaper, but am a sucker for convenience.

The A and B are just different curvatures to better fit each side of the windshield.

Want to replace the blades I had on for the winter, with some nice quality blades. I read somewhere that even though our trucks use a 22" blade, we can use a 24" without any problems, whats everyones take on that? Also what brand wiper blades are everyone using? I was looking at the Bosch Icons.

I just replaced my wiper blades twice. The first set were Michelins which created a lot of dragging noise while running in light rain. Returned the first set and upgraded to Rain X with the plastic cover which hides the blade frame and they are doing an outstanding job of removing the rain and run very quiet.

Fwiw, just got my Bosch icon. Looks like I had rainx previously, which ran great for the entire 8 months I had them (previous owner install) until I used my entire washer fluid reservoir to defrost my windshield one day :893Chainsaw-Smilie-.

Fwiw... Construction is nearly identical. Only difference I found was that the Bosch had the rubber boots on top of the frame covering the entire frame where as rainx did not. Side by side comparison below.

Oh and fyi, I just snapped the old rainx wipers off instead of trying to figure out how to get the damn things to unlatch lol. That's why the rainx look less covered at the wiper arm connection, but it's identical.

Whatever happened to the refills? I just bought a set of refills for the 2015 Jeep at $5.00 each. They are Trico. That compared to the Trico or Bosch wiper replacements at $23.00 each. When I looked at the refills for the RAM it showed the same part number (45-220 Trico) as the Jeep left side. The whole wiper replacement is part #25-220.

The rubber is the same, but not the metal sides. Just screwing around I popped off the two end caps and slid the rubber out of the metal sides and slid the rubber from the 45-220 back in and it fits just fine, as long as you use the same old metal sides.

The blades on the truck now look like that Bosch Icon.

In my experience, if you wipe the blade down with a isopropyl swab every other week or so, they last double or triple the general replacement time. Best blades I’ve had are latitudes.

So you put 24's on driver & passenger side and no problems?
