I just installed the Mopar remote start kit on my 15 tradesman but am having the hardest damn time activating it through the alpha obd...

I have tried resetting both the rf hub and the fobiks using my both my truck pin and 0000...

Any suggestions??

Alexey hasn't figured out how to program in New rf hubs on the 2013-16 baseline keys. Well he has but hasn't figured out how to make both the baseline and highline programming work at the same time. Since more people are adding highline systems he's left it like that until he can figure it out a 100%. So unfortunately the only option right now for the 2013-16 truck's for replacing the rf hub and programming keys to it is going to the dealer

I just got all the hardware, and purchased AlfaOBD (Android).
Hard to follow the directions of uploading the configuration before doing anything, when that function doe not work.
Praying for a quick resolution.

Like 1500ram12 said, it’s not capable of programming a new baseline rf hub.
I’m curious though, the first step is to program the fob. When you do this, what is the message? Does it say “ECU timed out while reading key programming results. Although key fobiks may be still have been programmed. Try to start the vehicle, if vehicle does not start reprogram key”?

So I did the premium cluster swap two weeks ago and I was able to get the idle and engine hours to update only with the ignition set to ACC. It failed and did not update with the key set to RUN.

I was able to adjust the odometer on the first attempt even though alfaobd said the procedure failed. This was with the key set to the RUN position.

Just upgraded to a pixel 3xl... Installed Alfa, have permissions to storage but when I start the app it tells me no internal or external storage available.

Anyone else have this issue? Running version that was released on 9/2.

Check to see if app has permission to use storage. Go into the phone Settings, then Apps. Look in the Permissions

It does.

I also tried toggling the value, denied and then re-allowed, app still says there is no storage available.

My low beams are now turning off when I turn on my high beams. What is the option in alphaobd that I need to make sure is configured correctly?
This issue started when my HID lights started having issues.

Make sure quad headlights is still enabled.

Is there no way to disable the tpms system? I got new wheels and tires and opted to save $200 and not get the sensors that surely will prematurely fail anyways, and now the tires are mounted and balanced and I would like to disable the chime and error message I get every time I start the truck.

That's exactly what it says. Wasn't sure if I was missing something or not.

Then that’s the same state the alfa is in the last time the developer tried to add the feature. Turn on debug log, try it again, and send it to him and explain exactly what you’re trying to do. Hopefully he can get it working like it does for installing a new highline rf hub.

No you can’t turn it off only lower the threshold

Hey guys, having another hiccup on my 2013. Trying to enable my DRL, followed the steps but when I got to the ECU Config 3 DRL Customer setting step that option isn't available to me under car config change. Anywhere else I should look? Tried to skip it and just do the next step DRL CSM but it tells me it isn't supported by the BCM when I try to change it. Thanks.

No you can’t turn it off only lower the threshold

Technically no but you have 2 options, as stated you can lower your thresholds or change the type of tpms setting. The other type ( don't remember off hand what it's called) turns off the warnings but still allows you to see your tire pressure.

FYI in regards to the storage warning on Android 10, Alexey says it is a known issue and should be fixed soon, hopefully this week.

I have a 2014 CTD 3500
ok here is where I am at I added units CMS - Customer Settings Menu (the menus on the radio) but when i change the settings ie from Km's to Miles it reverts back to default Km's, Do I need to activate something to get them to work?
I used to try to add them before my last Alpha update and they never appeared but now after the latest update they appear in the radio.

Anyone?

While I wasn't able to send the System Dump to Google Drive (because of the current bug being resolved), I was able to "view" it and save it to my phone.

After a few changes, I again did a System Dump, and see that the changes are noted, and a new dump is added to the file.

The file is going to become quite large over time, and I'm wondering if there is a way to Reset the file (start over).

I have tried deleting the App data in the App Manager, and that did not affect the file.

What the developer has figured out is some obd2 readers just can't communicate fast enough for some changes or some changes require 2 pins to swap or something like that which the obdlink mx is capable of.

Well I ordered the OBD Link MX and tried to adjust mileage and hours. Worked the 1st try. So I guess Im a believer now in having the exact obd reader. I did get a procedure failed message like you see in some of the videos but it actually worked and made the change instantly!
