6.4L SRT8 HEMI
After 3 years, I finally purchased and was able to install the 6.4L truck intake on my non MDS 6.4L Hemi.
Not exactly a plug and play but easier than one might think.
So the MAP sensor is different but it is exchangeable from one to the other (you must trim the tap at the back of the manifold).
The harness that was acquired from MMX made the SLR hook up very nice and clean.
A very nice S&B filter and CAI for a 2500 bolted right up and made the connection nice and clean.

I still need some tune adjustments but it runs very well.

This is how I expertly converted my 5.7 engine cover to a generic "HEMI" cover this hinting at the fact that the engine might not be a 5.7 any more.
Will this be wall art ?
I have not hung mine yet , but there is a lot of other parts that I’ve accumulated from changing things up .
Or do you have plans to try and adapt it back to the engine ?
I think it lets a lot of heat escape, so no thoughts of refitting for me.
That thing being so shiny has also grown on me.
It also makes me clean the engine compartment more often , so it all looks good.
