8.4an map update cost ?

Hello,

I made the swap from my ra2 to ra3, since my local junkyard is selling a ra4 with nav for not a bad price, I was thinking to swap it and sell my ra3.

But I know the the older gen of uconnect the update price was 150$. Is it the same thing on the ra4 or the update are cheaper ( or even free )

Also for those who made the swap, does you get the nav indication on your cluster ?

And last thing, does it Worth it the oem nav ? I read some older comment that the oem nav is always outdated. But those topic was created in 2013-14. Is it better now ?

The price is the same and the NAV turns does show up in your cluster for the premium cluster. I'm not sure if the 3.5 EVIC shows the NAV directions in the cluster though.

Yes the 3.5 cluster shows the turn by turn as well. The map update for my 2014 RA4 was 149.00. The update is a 2013 map base. They are always a year or so behind. I upgraded from an RA2 and was able to load the map update with no issues. I doupt the updates will ever be free. I don't mind paying to update every couple of years. I use my Nav
alot.
