I am having an issue with my turn signals. I added leds to the truck when i bought it and used alfa to change all the setting to get rid of the hyperflash and error message. Recently one led went bad and i swapped them out with a new set and now error message and hyperflash has returned. I double check alfa and everything is as i set it before, i do not remember the exact changes but there were two of them to turn the parking lights and turn lamps i think to leds and they are both set to yes. Any ideas how to get it rights? I have quad headlights not the projectors fyi.

I can 100% confirm that using OBDLink MX fixed my issue on the first try. Mileage has been updated. Also using Alfaobd 2.1.7.7 If you are using anything else other than OBDLink MX to update your mileage and its not working, chances are that is your issue.

If you just replaced them try using each signal for about 15-20 seconds, and your truck should learn the new led's. If they don't stop hyper flashing try using the 4 ways for the same amount of time. If that doesn't work try turning led turn/park off, let the truck sleep for a minute then enable them again and repeat using the signals

Hello my fellow Ram friends, for some time I've been just doing a lot of reading on the Forum, I've gotten fantastic help from MP Grimm and a great product from him for my on going upgrade project, I've got a 2014 Ram 4x4 Express/Tradesman with the upgraded 7"inch premium evic, the 8.4 Nav Radio. The Radio is a 2014 model and the Evic is from a 2015 Ram. The radio has the most current soft ware update thanks to MPGrimm! Everything works great together, except... the turn by turn nav pop up in cluster. I've enabled it with alpha obd, its checked marked in the radio settings and nav settings, I get the text writing in the evic with the turn by turn, but not the colored arrow graphic. Anybody with any info or any ideas on getting this corrected would be most appreciated! Thank you all!

I have a 2014 also, with the 7” EVIC with an RA3 nav enabled. I’ve never been able to get the graphics to work either.... I don’t think anyone has got it to work on the early trucks.

Yes, I've viewed that video, and exactly.. some how he got them to work, I've reached out to 4th generation ram electronics where Kustom black purchased hisupgrades, Benjamin said to disconnect the battery for 1 hr, I did, still the same, but he said let it go through some cycles. But if it's TRUE about earlier years that's a bummer it's like half there.. what the heck? The nav in the radio screen works perfect, actually everything else works good except I don't have outside temp displayed at top of radio, like I see most have, but outside temp is displayed in the cluster. Infotainment said about trying a canbus reset? What do you all think on that? What actually does that do? ,

I think his cluster is from a 16’ or newer truck... I think the problem is when you have a 14’ or 15’ EVIC.

Oh wow.. well there's no way I can dish out more money on another one, I know the 13s something about tpms wasn't supported or something to that effect, but I just don't get it, evic is a year newer than my truck, and I believe the owners manual even shows it if the truck originally came with it, so I would assume, it should show.. the truck originally had the ra1 radio..

Yeah, I enabled mine with alpha OBD also, but still no graphics.... I get the text just fine.

That's strange... I just did a google search and checked and some others searched show the 13 and 14 with the same graphic, ramforumz they discuss it, on how great and cool it is and they have a 13, so I believe that we should be able to obtain this, we are missing a reset or something, and I just confirmed with 4th gen ram electronics, our 2014s should, I say should, but don't, strange..

I have a 2014 also, with the 7” EVIC with an RA3 nav enabled. I’ve never been able to get the graphics to work either.... I don’t think anyone has got it to work on the early trucks.

I have a 2014 RA4 and a 2014 premium cluster both added after the fact and turn by turn works in the cluster.

I have a 14 Express and upgraded to the RA4 with the 7" premium cluster and the turn by turn on the cluster works fine. I have done a few other trucks and they have all also worked. My truck is a 14 with a 16 radio and a 13 speedo. The one thing I'm not sure of is whether or not I have tried a 16 or newer speedo in a 14 truck. I have seen a few guys post that for some reason the graphics for turn by turn aren't working but it seems to be an intermittent problem that affects some but not all. This is a pic of my 14 Express with a 13 speedo and a 16 radio.

Maybe try disconnectting the battery overnight.
