Has anyone used this to reset airbag system faults. Added a new clockspring on my truck. Accidently created a fault after getting the wheel airbag put back in.
What are the faults are getting?

You can connect to the "airbag" then "read all faults", "clear faults". To my knowledge I have not known anyone to do this but if only clearing faults should be ok. However, if there is a problem, the fault will just return.

If the fault persists, disconnect the battery, after a moment touch the leads together, let rest for 20+ minutes then reconnect.

@Michael Dent

Quickly looking through, I noticed an adjustment to the sdar travel link setting. Also noticed maserati vehicle mode set to normal... I think on all of ours its set to not set.

There were a couple codes in the bcm regarding lighting short circuits but it looks like you cleared those.

And the bunch of changes of vehicle type. I wouldn't see how those would mess up the radio, though.

Will keep looking... I don't have a rebel but maybe there is some setting in common with all models that is the key.

Do you know what would change the radio hardware setup causing the SD card to not be seen. It is as if my 2016 Rebel is seeing the radio as 2017 radio when the SD card was removed.

My 2014 does not have the SD card either, just USB and Aux. I think it's a trim level thing.

This is the setting in Alpha that controls which of them you have.

ECU Configuration 3:
External Port Type: AUX + USB

Yes it wasn't available unless your truck came with an RA3 or higher radio from 13 to 16. It was discontinued in 2017 for some reason.

Awesome response and feedback

That should solve the problem I will try soon and update

OK solved the SD Card Reader issue - THANK YOU

But still missing an active XM Source and an active antennae setting for FM and AM. FM and AM show up in Radio but no way to tune to a station/frequency - weird.

XM is completely missing.

I tried looking thru settings and could not see where at add or adjust. I did see antennae settings - what should it be set to?

You are awesome for your help so far

Something interesting happened yesterday. I locked my truck from the door, shut it, and walked to the door and it honked before I got inside. I figured I hit the button in my pocket. Last night, it repeated. So today, I locked the truck from the door, shut myself inside. When the red light for the VTA started flashing slowly, it honked. Seems like it arms the VTA even when locked from the door.

Some additional information:

my ECU Confg 3 Country of destination is set to Sweden.

When I go into alphaOBD to change it asks me to enter a value?

Since you have a Rebel, I'm unsure but you have ECU Configuration 3: Antenna Type: Passive Primary and active secondary antenna. Mine is set to Antenna Type: Passive Primary and no secondary antenna.

Also, as jimmy stated you should have Destination set to United States of America. All of these settings must have gotten changed when you were fumbling around with some others that changed them.

Edit: Just checked a '15 and '18 Laramie and neither have secondary antenna set.

@Michael Dent You can also enable ECU Configuration 3: SDAR Travel Link Feature Present: Not Set to Set. Mine wasn't and the travel link still worked but who knows? It also shouldn't affect your XM all together.

I have never replaced the ABS module on a newer Ram but I have replace several on other cars and it is a very straightforward and simple process and no programming was required. In most cases the ABS module attaches to the ABS pump when the module is replaced the actual ABS pump does not need to be bled because it does not need to be removed.

Thank you guys for your help! New module will show up tomorrow so we will see for sure then! I’ll keep you updated. I did some more Alfa research and I’m hoping abs initialization will do the trick if anything is required. So thanks for that tip! As for the $45 fee my dealer said that’s any charge for hooking it up to the computer. Need a key fob programmed? $45. Need drl turned on? $45. Buuttt... I’m feeling pretty cool with Alfa knowing I don’t need to depend on a dealer. Also that dealer is about 40 mins away, I always make this trip because my local dealer absolutely sucks! My mom got threatened by the service techs after she said she was sick of waiting 2 hours after the expected finish time! Oh boy.. And last but not least the truck isn’t under warranty. It’s a salvage title that I rebuilt, had significant front end damage but I will be into a 4th gen Ram with the EcoDiesel for about 10k less then blue book.. now let’s just hope the engine doesn’t fail like everyone says. Thanks again to everyone that helped and I’ll let you know if Alfa works!(if needed)

You're lucky to have a dealer that will do anything for $45. Mine wants $150 to do anything.

This was a fix for us Jeep Compass owners. I worked with the developer to have an option in the preferences to force the use of the blue adapter cable. Since without it we couldn't interface with the trailer tow module, which would cause proxy alignments to fail. We're working with OBDLink to see if they can firmware update the devices to get this fixed. Not sure if any of the 18/19+ ram trucks will run into the issue, but that's what the option is for.

Unfortunately it asks for a blue and I cannot enter anything

I wonder if this is why my radio has no frequecy

Asks for a blue? Which OBD adapter are you using in conjunction with Alfa?
