As my truck approaches the 60k mile mark I decided that ALL my fluids should be changed.
Since I am an Amsoil dealer I will practice what I preach. The only fluid that will not be Amsoil is the transfer case. I got that from the dealer along with the filters for the transmission.

I actually bought that to bleed the cooling system in my 2002 Ram because it was a sealed system. Highly recommended kit it’s been used so many times

Is there something that you’re saying indirectly about their red cap signature series ATF that’s recommended for all 2009+ 1500 transfer cases?

No couple reasons I went to the deal. 1 was I was getting the trans filters from them and 2 I had them look it up by vin since my truck is a 12 it’s that odd year so I was not 100% what trans and transfer case I had. I did not see anywhere on Amsoils website that stated Meets or exceeds bw-44 on my quick search that I did

I’m re ceramic coating my truck so before I start the week long detail I figured it was a good time being I’m a couple thousand away from 60K. I am not looking forward to doing the plugs they didn’t look fun. I’m sure I’ll be hurting for a while

You're a dealer? This say's 44-44.

Good on ya. I'm thinking about going to Amsoil, from Pennzoil.

Because they're an American company. Shell is not, and they're getting too many labels and I'm concerned about quality/consistency.

yeah I wasn’t sure what transfer case I had so I got fluid from the dealer. I may have done a more in depth search if I wasn’t going to the dealer to get the transmission filters.

I've ran the MVATF in my 44-44 and it worked fine. I've also ran Redline C+ in it as well. No issues whatsoever in all the modes from not using the dealer fluid.

The dealer 44-44 fluid is a money maker for them. They originally had speced ATF+4 for everything but the 44-44 but then they all of a sudden changed it to "transfer case fluid" for all their Tcases. Same part number but all of a sudden it covers all the Tcases? Right[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]735280904ae949fb9fae365751854bff.jpg

And those Easy Packs are great. I did my wife's old 2017 Jeep GC using those when they first came out. Way easier and quicker than a hand pump[emoji106]

You can keep putting off that spark plug change if you have the iridiums.

It's been one of the only mods/maintenance that wasn't worth a dime. My truck was at like 95k and the plugs looked solid except for normal wear and tear. I changed them out. Zero change to the truck

I've often wondered about this.

People put off the COPPER ones for 60/70/80,000 miles.

The iridium ones are supposed to last 100,000 miles, so..........

They'll probably run 200,000 miles !

For 2016- it's supposed to be 68049954AC, but if Amsoil says theirs will work, I believe them.
