I just acquired a 2017 1500 Limited. The back up cameras works just fine, except the grid lines appear too close together. They will indicate side clearance when there is clearly an obstruction present. It is as if the lines are connected to the inside sensors instead of the the ones on the ends of the bumper, if that's possible. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

The camera is center tailgate. I don't believe the lines are directly connected to the park sense system. I do believe they work independently of each other.

My suggestion if you have park sense, turn off your rear sensors, should be a button to push, and see if the lines give a warning, I don't think they will.

This is correct, no relation between the sensors and camera - read through this thread, it has a good explanation in it
