I've got three 12" kicker comp subs, 6000 watt Memphis audio amp, 4 6.5" JL audio component speakers in a box on top of the subs, and two 6x9" JL audio door speakers. A couple interior neons, a street glow kit, and a bunch of other stuff all running on my battery. Stop and go traffic is really putting a horrible strain on my battery. Sitting at a red light, I can literally watch my gauge go all the way to the low end which causes my stereo to cut off. Night traveling reduces my already horrible lighting to minimum. Is there any good batteries out there you guys would recommend, or an alternator pulley upgrade or anything?

Turn the volume down.

Or get a fatter alternator. Battery won't do much if your alt can't keep up. What do you have now?

I've been riding with the amp turned all the way down. I'll have to look at my battery. Any link where I can purchase this alternator? I've got to do something.

Look up Durango alts almost a bolt in job and it won't cost an arm and a leg. As for dual Batts you need a pass side batt try from a dsl.

U will need to change the harness plug to match the new alt. That's it that's all easy for a guy like you.
