Do you think it's a myth? I was pretty sceptical until I found this in my catch can after only 3,000km, not miles, kilometers.

Cold weather, prolonged idling, and short trips will fill it up a lot faster ... so normal Canadian winter requirements.

Yup! 3 hours after I drove my new 5.7L home and parked her in the garage... I was on the phone ordering mine... 5.7L had 137 miles at time of install...

I'm not one who thinks He knows everything-->So this was not a very hard rational decision...

With that said: After I had signed all the papers and the Ram was being detailed the Service Mgr pulled me off too the side and said-->"Off the Record! First thing you should do once you get this New Truck home is order a Catch Can and get it installed!" He recommended BT!

It's funny when guys like that pop up. There were dealerships stocking BT's shifter park lock 'pink thingy' because it was better than the fix Chrysler put out for the LX cars.

That's the one thing I don't like about them! Sometimes I'll be driving and think "uh oh its been a while..better check it!" Haha

Only once did it get 3/4 full on me though. I try to remember to check sooner lol

really that would have burned up in the engine anyway. long term it could cause issues but these days when most people don't even keep a vehicle 5 years i wouldn't worry about it

Unless I win the lottery I plan on keeping our truck for a long time, so our catch can is the cheapest engine insurance I could buy.

My wife would kill me if I got rid of my truck, lol. I'm running a dual catch can system on mine though because of my mods.

Hopefully you remind me to check mine haha. only after around 2000km canadian winter.

I installed my catch can in oct-nov 2014. Since I got 2-1/2 can. That's huge considering that I drove no more than 6000-8000 km

Guys, where is it better to order catch can for Ram 2013?

BT's looks better and is a little shorter but larger in diameter, lots of color options to suit your taste. The UPR can that you get from other places does have a 1/8npt tapped hole in the bottom and only comes in polished, satin, or black. I've got one of each in my engine bay and the BT can is much nicer to look at and works the same.
