I have a 2018 2500 with a Uniden dash cam, which I have installed on the rear view mirror cover. It hangs down just below the mirror. The wiring is tucked under the headliner and down the drivers side pillar, where it’s plugged into the lighter outlet in the console, under the phone holder.

It’s causing a lot of static and reception problems on the 8.4C radio. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m thinking of moving the wiring to run down the passenger side pillar instead to see if that helps. My thought is that the satellite antenna likely runs down the drivers side pillar, which may be causing the interference- although there is static even when listening to broadcast stations. Any thoughts?

I have a Pruveeo dash cam with a hard wire kit. I ran my wiring down the driverside a pillar and have no sxm interference. I don't listen to regular radio so can't say if I have any real interference there.

When I was younger, and CB radios were still somewhat popular, there were a few tricks we used to eliminate interference.
One method was to wire directly to the battery.
In extreme cases, we’d use a coaxial cable to run the power. Use the center conductor for the positive, and the outer conductor for ground.
Grounding the outer conductor of the coax acts as shielding.

Try a different USB power supply, I have a dash-cam with the power cable running up the same way up the driver's A pillar with no static issues.
Try a hardwire power supply like this: Dash Cam Hardwire Kit, Mini USB Hard Wire Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FXJD8W1/
There are micro-usb ones available also
