I ended up having the dealer lower the pressure thresholds. The problem is the light is still on so I have to go back and have them mess with it some more...

Good luck, and please, if you get it figured out, let us know. I lifted my 2500 and the new tires wouldn't like the 80psi recommended for the rear or the 65 for the front. I keep my tires at 55 psi, and the light is on.

I know a Chrysler tech. He brought the computer home and changed my TPMS thresholds. tried every combination, every pressure. Didn't do much, except now my dash says "inflate front to 32psi" and "inflate rear to 47 psi" and all 4 tires are at 55. Tried airing up to stock pressures to make the light go out, and then lowering, but nothing.

If anyone figures this out, please please please let me know. If I could buy a $700 tuner that would turn the light off, I'd probably do it.

The way a lot of Jeep guys got around it was to have 1 TPMS on the spare tire. On the Jeeps, as long as it picked up 1 reading the light would go off.

I know a few guys (I did this for a while too) that made a PVC tube with 2" PVC and 2 End Caps. Drill a hole in the end cap just big enough for the valve stem to pass through. I also used RTV around the base of the TPMS to avoid leaks. Then use the PVC cement to glue the ends on. The PVC & glue is rated for something like 100+ psi, so the 40 psi you air up the tube for should be plenty safe.

I tossed mine in the rear cubby and it worked great. Worth a shot.

That doesn't work. The sensor will go to sleep since there's force being put on like it would going around in a tire.

Well, over a month now since I swapped a set of stockers on. I still have not had the TPMS sensors flashed and no CELs? I figure something would have came on by now, but nope.

On Fords if you messed with the tires half the time you had to relearn the sensors. I'm wondering if something like that has to be done for these too. I plan on bringing it back to the dealer this Friday. At this point I wish I would have just left it alone.

I give up. I went back to the dealer and they had to reset the thresholds back to stock, that was the only way to shut the light off. No one can figure out why Chrysler allows you to adjust them if the truck won't accept it.
