I have heard that this is possible, but dont see where to do it. Any one know where this is done or can you reinterate that it can be done? I am looking at a set of stock wheels and tires, but the TPMS sensors have already been removed and I dont want to have to break mine down and break those down again to add them. Would save close to $200. Please advise. Thank you.

I don't thing any tuner can disable the TPMS

I wish my Intune would because I'm running no sensors in my rims now. Al thought it doesn't bother me much. I would like the light to stay off.

Only thing I've seen that can disable it is the AEV Procal. Not sure if it'll work on a Ram, but I use it on my 2014 JK.

I never tried it. Not sure I'm brave enough to go down that road so don't ask...lol

Trinity? No.

I could be wrong, but it was my understanding that would violate federal law and thus no one does it.

You do change it with different types of tires. My 315 Duratracs run at a different pressure than the stock 225/75/16's it came with.

Off road I'll shut mine off as I air down to 10 or 15 psi depending where I am.

The alarm and light is annoying.

You can disable TPMS with the Trinity on Jeeps. I had mine disabled on my 2012 Wrangler. Not sure why they cant do it on our trucks? Shouldnt be an issue but maybe there was not much demand so they did not add the feature. I would inquire on DS forums or send them a message.

I just changed my rims and tires on my 09. I'm really surprised that I'm not getting any lights or warnings. I don't know why.

It just seems if you can delete the cats and disable mds, then why not be able to turn the tpms off? All its doing is looking for a signal showing in range right? Seems it would be easy enough to give it the signal it is looking for to keep the ecu happy. Offroading and track days could use the feature. Who would run down the track at full pressure on the rears? Lol. I do appreciate all of the responses and will get with DS and update this thread. Thanks Guys!

I am looking @ a 2011 tune right now, there is nothing in the template for disabling that under CAN switches, engine hardware switches, or hardware switches in Scalars.

I doubt Diablo will oblige sadly...

You cannot disable TPMS on 2014 using the Diablo tuners. You cannot adjust the alarm pressures either so those of us who choose to run the correct pressures for unloaded operation (or non-stock tires) are stuck with the TPMS low pressure warning.

I know there are not many options yet for 6.4 tuners. I would like to lower the pressure requires for the tpms or disable it completely, that is the main reason I want to get one.
I see few people on here disabling their tpms is 2012 and earlier trucks with bullydog tuners, is it possible yet with 2014's?

I called Diablo and they said they looked into it but they aren't going to do anything with it. Pretty much the only way to have these settings changed is to get a dealer to do it or use auto enginuity software, which won't be available until December for the 2014's.

I requested this functionality from DS originally.
It was not an options. I believe the quote about it being a federal mandated system is the reason. Also, unless it can be written into a custom tune, you cannot turn off rear O2 (and thus cats) with the DS tunes. It's certainly not an option in the menu.

The way a lot of Jeep guys got around it was to have 1 TPMS on the spare tire. On the Jeeps, as long as it picked up 1 reading the light would go off.

I know a few guys (I did this for a while too) that made a PVC tube with 2" PVC and 2 End Caps. Drill a hole in the end cap just big enough for the valve stem to pass through. I also used RTV around the base of the TPMS to avoid leaks. Then use the PVC cement to glue the ends on. The PVC & glue is rated for something like 100+ psi, so the 40 psi you air up the tube for should be plenty safe.

I tossed mine in the rear cubby and it worked great. Worth a shot.

I ended up having the dealer lower the pressure thresholds. The problem is the light is still on so I have to go back and have them mess with it some more...
