Hemi Tick- Tips and looking for repair manual

Hey Everyone,

So my 2014 outdoorsmen at 125,000kms has developed the tick. Turns out its the lifter, must be seized as I popped the valve cover off and the rocker arm for that was all floppy so the lifter does not seem to be functioning.

I plan on changing all lifters, pushrods etc. Should I change the Camshaft or leave it if its ok?

Also does anyone have a source for a repair manual for this truck?

If the lifter is bad you will need to change the camshaft it wipes the lobe out if you search on the forums few write ups on it not to bad of a job if your mechanically inclined I spent about $1000 on parts when i did mine.

Check your local Crappy Tire,they should have either a Haynes or Chilton manual for the trucks. You can also read through Kurtis's thread on cam swapping the vvt hemi. Kurtis is also Calgary based,what part of Alberta are you in?

techauthority has the factory manuals. chiltons or haynes might be decent but i always get the factory ones

Manual doesnt state too much ...

Also you are supposed to drop the oil pan... Post a pic to so we can see if there is too much oil shavings.. Check the oil control vavle.

I watched this video, everything is quite clear. Special thanks for the PDF manual. By the way, it might be useful for someone, I recently tried leaving notes in a service manual using the online tool https://pdfguru.com/forms/da-5960 with which I fill out DA Form 5960.
