I am honestly at a loss to what the difference may be. There is something we are missing. If you have a Multimeter I would suggest starting the truck and see if you have power to the two pink/yellow wires in the drivers side seat yellow plug. I have mine hooked to a relay to have power when ignition is on run. That is the only thing I can think of where my truck may be different. So I recommend starting the truck and checking those two terminals for power in the yellow plug then turn on the heated seats and then see if there's still power to both pink/yellow wires my truck has power to both of those terminals all the time when it's running because I put it on a relay I'm thinking that may possibly be something that's different. Maybe I inadvertently bypassed something by hooking mine up directly to the battery in a relay where I'm getting power to the modules needed and your truck doesn't Supply it when the heated seats are on
When I roughed in my wiring, I checked each wire with a multimeter to insure that they were working and returning 12+ VDC. I checked both the reds for constant power and the pink/yellows to make sure that they only had power when the key is on. All tested good.
Rick -- Did you ever have a chance to check that schematic difference that I asked about? That could be a difference, but I would think that would cause everything not to work.
I'm going to take the AE tool tonight and see if I can command the Vented seats to come on. I don't want to add the code to the BCM, but if they would come on, that would prove that the wiring is correct.
