You have a 2013 Ra4 vp4-NA radio. You need to reference post 2.

Make sure you download and follow the directions as well as v17.x update file.

Make sure you format the USBdrive drive as fat32 and
The only file that should be on your Fat32 4gb+ Thumbdrive when ready will be "swdl.iso and swdl.upd"

Thanks for helping me find the update for my radio I thought it would not work but with what you told me look for other vin number of Year 13 and it worked

I have a Ram 2014 Outdorsman with the 8.4N Uconnect system Hardware part number 68224525AM. I downloaded and flashed the 17.11.07 update a few months ago and the 17.43.01 both from the Uconnect website. Upon installing 17.43.01 update I did a factory reset and lost my navigation I have a “Naviserver: Undefined” error and database is missing. I have contacted Uconnect unhelpful, except to tell me to take it to the dealer and said the unit had to be replaced. Everything else works fine. I also noticed the gps setting for the clock is also missing. I tried to flash the 17.11.07 but can go backwards. Any help would be appreciated.

Couple of things, first you could reflash the latest update. If that does nothing, wait for several complete power cycles after reset/reflash before things are back to normal. I would say if it's gone through 5 or more power cycles without NAV coming back online, you will need to take it to the dealership for possible replacement.

It sounds like your download didn't have the full software set/was missing the map files. We've seen the same thing on the 18 UAx radios after earlier updates (fixed with a later "full" version). If you can get your hands on a "full" version to reload that may take care of it for you ... although it's hard to tell which "update" is full vs just an update other than comparing file size.

Q: have you tried redownloading it again?

Infotainment (FL) and United Radio (NY) can reload the full software for you ($$$ pricey) and there is a guy on eBay (FactoryRadioParts). One of them may be willing to hook tyou up with a download of the full version (maybe even customtronix). If you wait long enough, one of the future FCA updates may be a full version.
