BT of course! I can't say I'll ever use "moes" again after my experience....but can't way to get in my next mod and begin the instal!!!!

Catch can is worth every penny...Yea what happened with Moes?Ive had nothing but good experiences with Matt and the prices and fast shipping is awesome as well!If you had a bad experience with him did you talk to Matt about it?

Well bought my can....no problem.....I get my emails with receipts...no problem....check my credit card statement all is good....check my credit card statement a few days later....double charged....figured no big deal...dropped them an email (I work an am up midnights so this is really the only way I can communicate till I'm off duty in a few days) my reply from them was its impossible to be double billed, their software does not allow it....odd because I know I'm not blind....so triple check my account, still double charged....shoot a screen shot of my transactions to them...I call my credit card company and they show two transactions...moes believe it's a pending transaction....however I've never seen a pending transaction double bill (money taken from my account twice) so....sorry to say I opened a credit dispute....sorry but I don't know "Matt" but I do know my card company and bank....who do I trust? No one....so I'm sure he's not happy with my course of action however I don't have time to go back and fourth and as a customer shouldn't have to go over board with trying to resolve a double billing....their sayin they only show one transaction.....somewhere somehow they have two....so oh well....my bank has already credited my account with the double charge so ....there ya have it.....most likely a simple mistake/error....just didn't set well with me is all...ymmv

Sucks that you had a bad experience but hey S*&T happens.
Moes are pretty stand-up guys.

Yea ya never can trust electronics these days..I had it out with a gas station once because they put me on the wrong pump and when they changed it to the pump I was at it still left a hold on my card for the $80 that was originally put on a different pump do had to go back and forth with them.Well enjoy the catch can.Its def a good mod!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to avoid giving them my hard earned money. I have zero tolerance for businesses that pull that kind of crap and then refuse to own any responsibility.

I work with customers and this happens often...it's computer glitches and the retailers are the ones who take the heat...it is what it is. Moe's should have been a little more open about working with you though IMO.

I don't believe this is status quo with them but just didn't have the patience in me after the "wwe can't double charge"..... Oh well I got done what I needed

Similar story ordered exhaust from cherry bomb but they cancelled it because it was out of stock and refunded me......twice! I tried to call them but no one answered I guess cause it was late at night due to me working night shift. In about three days it all got straightend out. I could have said sorry out of luck to them but I didn't want to steal there money. Needless to say bout a mufflex from moes got it in 4 days no problems what so ever. I find that these double pending transactions happen when you use a debit card as a credit card.

My instance was just straight up double charge no pending about it....but it's all settle now so got my catch can today time to install!!!

That's great I ain't to sure about all these banks and pending and proccessing it's just a big hassle if it didn't take so long I'd just send money orders to everyone lmao!!!

Installed it today...and damn, that was the easiest mod I've ever done....lol can't wait to see how much oil is in there....

Our system and our bank account still only shows 1 charge for your order, so I have absolutely no idea where or how your bank account showed that you were charged twice. I sent multiple replies to you in attempt to make things right with your bank, but you did not allow me to help. We have only 1 authorization code and only 1 transaction ID. Once funds are accepted for an order, it does not physically allow us to accept the funds again without running the card info back through...(in which case we do not save your card info, so we would have had to contact you in order to get that info from you). These steps are put in place specifically to prevent this from happening.

When you placed your order, it could have been something as small as you accidently double clicking the submit button. I could see that possibly putting up 2 pending charges, but I can absolutely assure you that Moe's only accepted the funds once as that is all that our system will allow us to do, and that is all that our bank account is showing for your order. We have yet to hear from your bank, so I'm assuming they saw that it was pending and not an actual double charge. Pending charges clear out after 3-4 business days if the money is not accepted by the merchant, so I am sure all is well now.

Vapiper - Matt (of Moe's Performance) is one of our vendors here, and has helped many of our members with awesome parts. I find it hard to grasp that he would purposely double charge an item.

I know that Matt and I use the same website software, and with it - when a credit card is used there are multiple instances that the card is "hit". There is an authorization, then it goes through to completion. When I look at my records for any credit card transaction, I actually see 3 transactions. Authorization, Release and Completion. I can tell you as well, again with the software both of us use, you simply cannot run the card 2x on the same order. The software will not allow it, trust me.......many a customer asks me to add something to their order after its in - I have to do another order, can't hit that card 2x on the same order. Goofy, but it keeps things like this in line, so they can't happen.

Ever looked at the credit card after you use it at a restaurant? Lets say the bill was $34.62, you tip $5.38 to have a final bill of $40.......when they hit the card (authorize) it, its done for $34.62, when the final goes in, you see $40. The $34.62 is gone......

I won't beat a dead horse, I know Matt's a stand up guy, won't stiff a customer. At the end of the day, I'm willing to bet that it was a simple auth/release/complete on your card, not something that Matt double billed. Thats my opinion, again, knowing how the software and billing stuff works. If it showed up 2x on the screen.......it might have been at the right moment in time when the completion was done, the release was processing, who knows..........

NOt bad mouthing your vendor

as for the double charge...after sending you a screen shot of my account showing TWO charges back to back....should be somewhat "proof" of an issue....if it was something as simple as clicking purchase twice then it should show in your system as two purchases....something easy to investigate I'm sure. Any time any of these simple issues have happened in the past I've contact the vendor to whatever company I've ordered from....and they were able to discover where the mistake was made and was easily fixed....

I don't have time for back and forth and quite frankly after contacting the company and then providing a screen shot of my account (didn't "have" to do that) and still getting the "we didn't make a mistake, it's impossible" type attitude I felt it was in my best need to just use the protection offered by my card company...sorry...but I don't "know" you....ask yourself when dealing with your hard earned money....how you would of done anything different.

Again I accept somethings "things" happen, hence why credit card companies have a "dispute" transaction option.

I contacted my company..and it was in fact two charges...and they went through...sorry, but yeah, I had to dispute the second as it didn't appear it was going to get solved quicker than I was able to do it (after clicking dispute the charge was removed)....

Again, I never said he did it on purpose ...... I highly doubt a vendor of any site would do such a thing.... it was a simple mistake

it WAS a double charge...verified through my card company....two transactions...(2) transactions....reason why I called my card company to verify...trust me..my wife and I use the card very frequently (gotta build those cruise credits lol) and have NEVER had a double charge a catch authorize release...tripple or double...show up...ever....perhaps that's just how my company shows transactions..only shows what's gone through? I don't know...I know I've had bank accounts that have had pending, authorized, cleared...different terms same thing...whatever.

Time to move past...I'm happy with the product...I'm happy with the fast shipping...would of liked the handling of the double charge done differently, but don't really care anymore as it's been handled.

Does this mean I will never order from "moes"...no...it doesn't mean I won't.....I go where value and quality is....I work hard for my money, so I spend it wisely....
