Line-X Quote: Price Gouging?

Just got a quote to have my truck Line-X sprayed. UV is $625 ($500 standard). Add $300 to get the fender wells sprayed too.


I've read elsewhere of guys saying they're getting UV done for like $500 and $100-$200 for the wheel wells.

I get that CA prices are another animal, but this guy seems higher than anything I've seen. $1,000+ after taxes for a sprayed bed and wheel wells. Thoughts?

Im not sure about wheel wells I didnt request a quote for that

I just paid 650 or so after tax for under rail line-x with the UV (Premium) in Utah.

People are really paying ~$1000 to have a "platinum" spray in liner done? Wow.

In reality, the standard prices haven't changed that much. Back around 2000-2001, I had an over the rail Line-X job done to my Chevy K1500 short bed. It was either $300 or $400 back then. Buffalo NY area.

Those dealers to quote high. I live in SoCal and went into line x dealer for a quote. I walked out there fully convinced there is a chance I might never get my truck line x’d.

To have my bed, AMP steps and my custom steel bumper done was well into the 2k. Close to $2,500.
