I have the black Husky version. Mine sucked outside air (vacuum breaker) no matter how I tried to tighten down the drain, so I pulled the spring and RTV'd it closed.Because 99.99% of the catch can guys on here have the BT and that's how it works, so all the write-ups and pics show it that way?
I think the bottom drain is clever but I'm biased![]()

The Hemi moves a lot of oil vapor out of the Pollution Control Valve (PCV). All that gunk is piped back into the intake manifold just below your throttle body. Over time all that crap can accumulale, reduce the octane of your fuel, and cause your sensors to read incorrectly.Im new to dodge. Only had it two weeks but what is this catch can thing? I have an Express with the 5.7 Hemi. Sorry for being an idiot.

By installing a can that forces a direction change or has a filter, the vaporized oil doesn't reach your intake manifold and instead accumulates in the can for disposal.
