My father once told me if I was worried about mpg, get a sedan. Lol. Mine gets about 15mpg on 3.21 gears. I live in a hill/mountain area so not much flat ground. I'm 9 minutes from work though so I'm fortunate.

If I were concerned about MPG's, I'd find a manual Golf TDI and delete/bypass the emissions crap

I probably fill up every other day as I head to NYC and back, but I'm not complaining about it

I'd complain more about having to drive into NYC than burning fuel. Ughh

I wrote it 4yrs ago, still holds true.

At least when ya go there for fun, it's not bad, but just some traffic pics to show ya the nightmare

I haven't driven in Manhattan/NYC too many times but the times I have I've actually enjoyed some of it. Mostly the part where everyone is so aggressive in their driving, everyone in my area upstate of that drives like they are terrified and it gets so annoying.

What part upstate?

I enjoy the aggression myself, just love it when idiot bicyclists and pedestrians act shocked when they're dealing with someone who doesn't kiss there ass and wants them to get the **** outta the way

Yesterday I reset the mpg meter for the first time since I bought her and I’m running 89 mobile with 3.92’s and this is what I got in the city. Mind you this didn’t last long but it was achievable lol

I have a little over 4000 miles on mine. just got back from DFW to Red River New Mexico and back and averaged 18 for the whole trip. lots of freeway but some mountain roads on up to 8750' above sea level and back. I dont feel too bad about 18 with the 3.92's. my 2017 sierra 4x4 ccsb with 3.42 gears got 20 a lot of the time so a 2 mpg hit with lower gears and a more powerful motor is not bad.
