So I ordered a afe new exhaust system. For my 2016 3500 I have a bully dog tuner but no option to delete dpf. Will it throw codes?

Does the tuner have a delete option or just a "street" tuner? Are you trying to delete or no?

Just saw your other post. I would recommend a different tuner such as efi live, mm3, or ez lynk as you'll get a lot more potential out of it and will run better. Most exhaust companies sell "race pipes" that allow you to take off the dpf. The tuners are more expensive than the bully but for the extra cost is worth it

I snagged a 40428 bully dog which allows DPF delete.

Will it support a 2016? I'm pretty sure you'll also need a unlock cable, I think bullydog sells them. I'd tune your truck first with the delete tune, make sure it takes before removing your exhaust.

Yes I have a unlock cable already. This tuner is a delete only tuner. So you can't install.it if everything else is still in place.

What I was saying is tune the truck first make sure everything goes a 100% then remove the exhaust. You don't want to spend the time removing the exhaust, depending if you are doing a turbo back or just a delete pipe, then find out you can't use the tuner
