New N/A 4 Door Record - 12.49 @ 110.24MPH

Last night Thad made history in his 2014 Crew Cab by running a 12.49 @ 110.24MPH. He is now the fastest N/A 5.7L 4 Door hemi truck on the books. Previous record was a 12.56 set by a 3rd gen about 5-6 years ago.

Thad's previous best run was a 12.74 @ 108mph 2 weeks ago. The only change since then was the addition of the Moe's Performance HPS cam. He is still running stock heads, stock tq converter, and stock intake manifold. His truck info is below...

He installed the cam on Friday night and ran the startup cam tune at the track. We got a couple of tunes done Saturday right before he left for the track to dial in the fuel trims and we still don't know the full throttle fuel ratio. I'm sure there's some dialing in on this one to get at least another .1 reduction out of it

Man it takes a few days to.get a tune down good. So definitely has more in it. Good job!

Are the JBA longtubes and dual magnaflow cutouts installed with the stock exhaust?

That would be so nice to run, unfortunately I'm in Virginia and we have to have CATS to pass Inspection and Emissions.

Are there any other exhaust options for when you can't get rid of your CATS?

I actually prefer a single exhaust myself. If you need cats to pass your inspection, then the ARH longtubes are available with high flow cats in a bolt on application. Very easy install, and with tuning, you will never throw a code.

With custom tuning, we can also eliminate the engine light if you choose to run no cats. Then it just comes down to whether your inspection shop actually does a visual inspection or not.

Justin, when are you going to put the cam in? The 8 speeds are responding extremely well to the mods, so I have a feeling there are going to be multiple low 12 second trucks in the coming year. You should be right there next to Thad.
