Well I wanted to add a second fuel filter between my cp3 and stock filter, but the kits out there were built for trucks with the stock intake horn and I don't run that anymore so I decided on what system I wanted and contacted the owner and discussed my situation and that I felt there were a number of others with the same issue of how to mount the filter setup without the stock intake runner. I told him were and how I thought it would work best for those of us without stock intake runners and would still mount the filter under the intake.

So here it is, Eric at Vulcan Performance made this awesome custom bracket that mounts under the intake runner between it and the grid heater for us that are no longer running the stock intake, the new kit will come with the new style bracket and an extra grid heater gasket to use between the bracket and the grid heater the other gasket will be between the intake and the bracket.

It is a very clean setup and leaves plenty of room for a bigger or longer filter to be used without issue.
