radio issues???

new to dodge and a little disappointed in the radio system. i have been in my 2010 1500 for several weeks now. it has the stock radio/mp3 cd player. there is always an faint static on most all of my normal stations. a few of them come in fine. the reception just seems to be very inferior to past make/model trucks.

also... not long after starting the engine, the radio will automatically switch to a non existant static station. i can turn the truck on and not touch a thing...and it will change. i have cleaned the buttons behand the steering wheel as another suggested. "reprogramming" is not an option with this basic stereo.

any ideas or experience with thes things???

finally someone with the same problem as me my stations suck i cleaned the arial and it has helped a little bit i took it in to dodge and they said there is nothing they can do :s

honestly on my 2011 i don't have this issue..........but it could always be better

Definition of Radio
