im having some issues with my oil tempature not displaying correctly. How would i reset the EVIC? i want to rule out and bugs in the EVIC

How many miles are on it? If it is under warranty, take it to a dealer. There is no reset procedure aside maybe a capacitor discharge. See what the reading is with a scan tool. If it is not reading on a scan tool it is not a cluster problem.

47k, ok ill hook up my scan gauge, what are the settings for the scan gauge?

like the code you need to enter to connect to the vehicle, scangauge 2 does come stock with oil temp.

Example x code
STM - Percentage of Soot Mass (%)
TXD: 07E022508d

No idea. Never used a scangauge. Just regular scan tools.

hmm, ill try and find some... would the 5/100 cover the temp sensor or no?
