Has anyone replaced their factory single out exhaust to a dual exit set up?
I have an outdoorsman that came with the single side exit exhaust and I'm wanting to replace it with aftermarket duals.
Lets hear it fellows.

Yup I did it on my slt. Very easy. Got the rear bumper from Rockauto.com for about $350 shipped. It was chrome but painted it black

I don't really want to replace the bumper. I was thinking about having the pipes exit behind each of the rear wheels. Or both pipes come out on the right side in front of the rear tire if that wouldn't get in the way of some nfab or go rhino type step bars later on.

I believe Flowmaster makes a kit that will give you the desired exit location.
The magnaflow kit might as well.

Yeah, I've found a couple kits. I was just wondering if anyone has done what I'm considering, and how happy they are with the results.

TRADE ME BUMPERS!!!!!!

I have the factory dual exhaust with a Magnaflow 18" muffler welded in and the sport bumper with the dual cutouts. I don't like dual exhaust so I swapped out the stock duals for a stock single pipe from a wrecked truck. The grey of my truck is the same grey that is used on the two-tone of the TRX and Outdoorsman. I am completely serious. My bumper is in perfect shape as is the exhaust piping and tips.

I just had my stock single swapped out with a magna flow dual out. I chose to just dump it out the sides at an angle.

This would simply be a change for the sake of appearance right? I mean since the collector to 3in sido muffler all remains the same there won't be a performance gain...

Well I'm going for sound and crossing my fingers for the slightest performance.

Yes, the single to dual is all about appearance. Also the sound is on both sides of the truck instead of just one. But going with an aftermarket muffler in theory may open up the exhaust. If you dyno'd before after I'm not sure the gains would be greater than the margin of error on the dyno itself.

I went from single to duals. Used the magnaflow 16870 kit. I liked it for a bit but didn't like the look of the tail pipes out the back so I sold it and got a magnaflow 24 inch welded on with a turndown

Too bad I don't live closer...shipping would be a bugger! I have the bumper you want, you have the one I want...someday.

Can't believe I can't find someone willing to trade locally. The hunt continues...
