UPS finally dropped off Autolite iridium plugs (XP5325) yesterdyay and I wasted no time putting them in this morning. Took me 1 1/2 hours for the total swap. ; The ones that are close to the firewall on BOTH driver and passenger side are PITA to get to but wasn't worse than I expected. My hemi had 47000km and 1333 total engine hours including lots of idling time but the old plugs came out nice and easy and looked like they still have lots of life left on them still with proper gaps and all. After a lot of research I decided not to put any antiseize on the new plugs. Engine runs good. Just reporting so it might help some people out there thinking about going with iridium plugs. Will do frequent updates on how they run.

I know that some of the '13s and above have the 100K mile (160KM) plug change interval now. Good to know that the ones near the firewall aren't THAT bad.

Yes but my factory plugs were NGK nickel ones only good for 30k miles. Drove around town all day today and the new iridiums are liking the hemi. Or vice versa lol.

Holy cow, that's a lot of idle time! Works out to be like 45% of the total engine hours.

Are you a cop?
